Susan Denney was born in Monroe, Louisiana and grew up in Shreveport. She’s lived many places and traveled to many more. She has degrees from LSU and the University of Iowa.
Her first priority is her family. Taking care of her husband and maintaining long distance relationships with four adult children and their families keep her busy.
After twenty-five years in Texas where she taught French at Denton High School, she and her husband moved to beautiful northeast Pennsylvania. Now she can write full time.
She is the author of Snarky and Sweet: A Romantic Comedy about Twins, Texas and a Big Red Diamond. She writes novels and magazine articles for adults and children and works as a newspaper correspondent for the Wilkes-Barre Times Leader. She is presently working on the sequel to Snarky and Sweet.
She is a full member of the Eastern Pennsylvania chapter of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
