Early settlers in Utah struggled to make it through the harsh winter. After spring came and they finished planting, they gave thanks to God and prayed that their crops would do well, but in summer crickets came and started eating their crops. Miraculously, seagulls came and ate all the crickets, saving the crops. The settlers prayed and sang songs praising God.
