Abbie R. Madsen

Abigail Rees Madsen was born on December 22, 1883 in Brigham City, Utah to David Morgan Rees and Laura Burbank. She married Roland Adolphus Madsen in 1906 and together they had 14 children. She was nominated Utah Mother of the Year in 1949. She had a passion for writing wrote poems and news for local newspapers. Many of her poems have been published in church publications.
