Annie Atkin Tanner

Annie Atkin Tanner was born on December 14, 1891 in St. George, Utah to John Peter Atkin and Annie Walker Atkin. She was a member of Dixie Academy's first graduating class in 1913. Annie married Vasco Myron Tanner in the St. George Temple, June 5, 1917. She was a prolific writer and would accompany her zoologist/entomologist husband on trips into the field and wrote poetry and stories surrounded by nature that inspired her.
