Celia A. Van Cott

Celia Anderson Van Cott was born March 16, 1903 to Neils Amel and Phylinda Ruth Stewart Anderson. She married John South Van Cott in 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Celia was a prominent Utah artist. She was a founder and honorary member of the Fine Arts Club, and a member of the Provo Women's Council. She organized the Home Art section and was responsible for bringing outstanding art and artists into Utah Valley. Celia was known as a gifted literary writer.
