Dorothy R. Cox

Dorothy was born in Bingham, Utah, on October 6, 1914 to May Fairbanks and James Ryan. She was raised in Payson, Utah by her mother May and her loving step father Gus Steiner. Dorothy married Frank B. Cox in 1933, their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. They had four children and resided in Provo. Dorothy worked at Utah Valley hospital as a medical transcriptionist for over 30 years. She was an active member of the L.D.S. church and served in numerous callings. She enjoyed writing poetry and painting the beauty of nature.
