Harrison M. Davis

Harrison M. Davis was born in Logan and reared in Ogden, Utah. He teaches humanities at Brigham Young University, runs rivers wherever he can find white-water, writes poetry, and climbs mountains. His publications include two anthologies, An Introduction to the Humanities, and Anatomy of Peace, and a book of poems, Portraits for Peace (1972). This poem springs from his experience in Wales, where he served as a Mormon missionary.
