Janene Wolsey Baadsgaard

Janene Wolsey Baadsgaard is often referred to as Mormonism's answer to Erma Bombeck. She has written numerous newspaper columns and features, magazine articles and books. Some of her books include: Is There Life After Birth? A Sense of Wonder, Why Does My Mother's Day Potted Plant Always Die? On the Roller Coaster Called Motherhood, Families Who Laugh . . . Last, and Family Finance for the Flabbergasted.

A graduate of Brigham Young University, she has been a Deseret News columnist and feature writer and home and family editor for the Utah County Journal. She is a frequent contrinutor to the New Era and the Ensign magazines and and has taught English and literature courses for Utah Valley State College. She lives in the country between Spanish Fork and Mapleton, Utah, with her husband Ross, and has nine children, April, Aubrey, Jordan, Arianne, Joseph, Jacob, Amy, Ashley, and John.
