The publication only publishes morally responsible literature and promotes "safe places for minds to wander." He is also one of the founders of Amberlin Books, a small-press focusing on fantasy and science fiction literature.
Jeff Wheeler was born in New Jersey in 1971 but was raised and spent most of his life in California's Silicon Valley. He went to college at San Jose State University and earned several degrees there -- a bachelor's and master's degree in medieval history and a master's in business administration. He has worked for Intel Corporation since 1992 where he has held a variety of positions: training administrator, workforce development program manager, night shift supervisor in a wafer fab, sourcing consultant, and labor market researcher.
