Jennifer Quist is an award-winning author, journalist, poet, student, talker, and boy-raiser. She's the author of two novels: "Sistering" (2015) and "Love Letters of the Angels of Death" (2013) which was long-listed for the 2015 International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, winner of a 2014 Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Emerging Artist Award, and finalist for a 2013 Whitney Award. Writing novels was preceded by years of work as a freelancer in newspapers, magazines, literary journals, anthologies, and on public radio. After growing up all over western and Maritime Canada, Jennifer settled down with her husband and sons in Alberta where she is a Master's candidate in the University of Alberta's Transnational and Comparative Literatures program.
In 2019 Quist became the the fiction submissions editor for Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought.
