Leone W. Doxey

Leone Watson Doxey was born September 3, 1899 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Alexander Lindell Watson and Jane Edith Braby. On September 26, 1923 she married Graham Hayes Doxey in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She served with him when he presided over the East Central States Mission, headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, from 1943 to 1946. Leone served for 16 years as a counselor to LaVerne W. Parmley in the Primary General Presidency. Her assignments included work on the Children's Friend magazine and on the Board of Trustees of Primary Children's Hospital. She also traveled extensively for the Primary throughout the world.
