Lucille Rampton Perry

Lucille Rampton Perry was born January 19, 1920 in Bountiful, Utah, the daughter of Alfreda Hansen and John Robertson Rampton. Lucille received her early education at the Stoker School in Bountiful and at Davis High School. She studied art at the University of Utah under LeConte Stewart. She belonged to the Utah State Poetry Society, and the Rhyme and Reason chapter. She belonged to the League of Utah Writers and was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many callings. Lucille married Curtis Scott Perry on August 15, 1940 in the Salt Lake Temple. They were later divorced. Together they had six children.
