Seven sons and three daugthers, of which the most notable was Joseph Smith, Jr.
A lady of piety and, for her circumstances, remarkably educated. She was a close witness to the vision and violence that characterized the lives and deaths of her sons. In 1845 she expressed a desire to go to the Rocky Mountains with the Church. However, she remained in Nauvoo where she died in the home of Joseph\'s Smith\'s widow, Emma Smith Bidamon.
