MacArthur is an English and Journalism teacher in Pasaden, Ca. After graduating from Stanford, she studied at Berkeley and at Los Angeles State. She is an avid reader, avid Stanford fan, and avid in her appreciation of her children\'s musical efforts. Her favorite hobby is traveling. She serves as the gifted/talented coordinator at the secondary level in her state\'s education program, Mary Ellen recently renewed her studies towards a Master\'s Degree at California State University at Los Angeles.
