Mary Hale Woolley

Daughter of John Thompson Hales and Sarah Elizabeth Stewart. Married Parley Woolsey on 6 June 1917.

Mary wrote the song, "Springtime in the Rockies" as well as many other compositions. She was the first Utah woman accepted for membership in the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP).
