Maud Chegwidden

Maud Chegwidden moved from England to Utah in 1912. She married F. J. Chegwidden, though they were later divorced. She was prominent for her column in the Salt Lake Tribune entitled "Through the Garden Gate," which she started in 1937. She moved to San Francisco, where she continued her gardening and writing. She died in San Francisco in 1960.
