Minnie I. Hodapp

Minnie Iverson Hodapp was born in Salem, Utah, May 9, 1889, a daughter of Andrew and Julia Matilda Olsen Iverson. She served an LDS mission in Hawaii. She received her Normal Diploma and a B.S. degree from Brigham Young University and spent a number of years of her life in the school room. She married Fred Hodapp, a convert to the Mormon Church from the European Mission. In 1929 her poem "Come Unto Me," won the "Deseret News" prize for a Christmas poem. She has had poems and stories published in all of the L.D.S. Church magazines. In 1947 she coauthored "Sage and Sego Lilies", a book of poetry.
