Mirla Greenwood Thayne

Mirla Greenwood Thayne was born in 1907 to Thomas Foster and Emma Burgon Greenwood. She married Clifton Earl Thayne on June 26, 1929 in the Salt Lake City temple. She was an active and very involved member of the LDS church. The gospel and family was the center of her life. Mirla was a talented writer and composer. She won many literacy awards. One of her most beloved songs, "I Wonder When He Comes Again," was published worldwide. She belonged to the League of Utah Writers and The Writers Hall of Fame. She has been listed in "Who's Who in America."
