Olive C. Wehr

Olive C. Wehr was born May 17, 1900 near Eastonville, Colorado to Harry and Euretta Cummings. She taught high school in Idaho, Washington, and Montana. Olive met Fred Wehr while teaching in Star, Idaho, and they were married June 17, 1930.

Olive was a prolific writer. She wrote a column for the Mission Valley News and a weekly column that appeared in the Ronan Pioneer and then the Lake County Leader. She also authored three books and had a collection of poems published.
