Ouida Johns Pedersen

Ouida Johns Pedersen was born November 11, 1917 in Manchester, England to Charles Cameron Johns and Elizabeth Mander Johns. Her family emigrated to the US. Ouida graduated from the University of Utah with a BA in English and married Ellis Hansen Pedersen. She was a member of many writing groups, holding office in the Salt Lake Chapter of League of Utah Writers, the Art Barn Poets, and with the National League of American Pen Women. A book of her poetry was published by the Royal College of Art in 1983.
