Philena Fletcher Homer

Philena Fletcher Homer was born August 26, 1877 to John and Lydia Holcomb Fletcher in Harrison Valley, Pennsylvania. She was educated in New York and attended Cornell University. She was a teacher and librarian in New York before moving to Utah to teach agriculture at Brigham Young University. She managed the Timpanogos Fruit Farm. She wrote for the Salt Lake Tribune and published scientific papers.
