Ruby Baird Andersen was born March 4, 1902, in Syracuse, Davis county, a daughter of James Hyrum and Margaret Ellen Randall Baird. After finishing her education she taught school four years, two years in Sevier county and two years in Ogden. She married to Reuben Andersen, June 9, 1927, in L. D. S. Salt Lake temple. The family came to Provo in 1935.
