Susan has one son, a stepdaughter, four stepsons, and is the grandmother of a beautiful baby girl.
She enjoys traveling, meeting new people, is an avid reader, and a prolific writer. She has four novels that have been published and several others in various stages of non-completion.

Susan is a believer in lifelong education, she attended Utah State University and the University of Utah and is currently studying at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. She also claims to have an honorary degree from the School of Hard Knocks.
Author
She won the Imitation Erma Bombeck contest for her story “The Ghost of Housework Past” and was also a runner-up the following year for her story “Fictional Dirt,” both of them stories about women who hate housework. (Go figure.) Last fall she completed the National Novel Writing Month challenge and wrote a 50,000 word novel during the month of November.
