Udora was born in Ursine, Nevada to Elva Udora and Samuel J. Hollinger. She married Neil L. Morris on March 14, 1947 in the St. George LDS Temple. They had seven children. Udora was instrumental as an advocate, committee chair and active parent in establishing the first Salt Lake Day Care and Training Center for Multiple Handicapped Children. She was an author and poet and spent many summers at the Chautauqua Institution in Western New York participating in their Literary Arts Programs writing stories and poems.
