Vaunee T. Larson

Vaunee Thompson Larson was born April 10, 1913 in Virginia, Illinois, to Loren Berthel Thompson and Jenny Fern Sharp Thompson. After completing high school she moved with her family to Oregon. Vaunee graduated with honors from Oregon State College in 1935, obtaining a Bachelor of Secretarial Science Degree. She converted to the LDS church on December 30, 1935. She married Andrew Warren Larson August 23, 1936 in Corvallis, Oregon. They were sealed in the Salt Lake City LDS temple August 28, 1936. Vaunee and Warren spent most of their married life in Berkeley, California, where they raised five children. Vaunee taught high school business classes in Richmond, California for many years. Vaunee and Warren moved to Orem, Utah in 1980.
