Janet and her husband, Dave, host Dr. Frances Booker for the summer. Dr. Booker is working on a project with Dave but quickly gets on Janet's bad side when she judges her for being a housewife. At dinner, they discuss the story of Mary and Martha, and Janet feels belittled by both Frances and Dave.
