Miss Fanny is nervous to tell her farmhand, John, that she won't need his help anymore. She reflects on all the good he has done for her over the past few years. After she tells him that she won't be needing him, John gets into an accident on the farm. In this moment, Miss Fanny realizes that she loves John. When he wakes up, they both express their love for each other.
