A Composition on George Washington

Bertha E. Bush

Salt Lake City, Utah: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1913

Fiction, Juvenile literature, Short Story
A young boy persuades his teacher to extend the due date for his composition about George Washington so that he could play with his friends. When he finally sits down to write the assignment, he only finishes two sentences and then makes his paper into a toy. The next day, the teacher requires him to stay after school to finish the assignment correctly.
