This video follows king Mosiah's journey from the land of Nephi to the land of Zarahemla. By using Book of Mormon scriptures, the travel trip and the land can be identified.
In fulfillment of Jacob's prophecy in Jacob 3:4, Mosiah was "warned of the Lord that he should flee out of the land of Nephi, and as many as would hearken unto the voice of the Lord should also depart out of the land with him, unto the wilderness (Omni v 12)."
This first king Mosiah, a descendant of Nephi, was sent by the Lord into the wilderness to go down to a land and discover the people of Zarahemla. (Omni vs. 13-14). Mosiah had with him the plates of brass, which contained the record of the Jews (Omni v 14) and also other precious records (Words of Mormon v 3).
Mosiah discovered that the people of Zarahemla came from Jerusalem at the time that Zedekiah was king of Judah (Omni v 15).
The following five hundred and thirty-two years of the Book of Mormon time, history, geography and genealogy are centered around the city and land of Zarahemla.
