A young German boy tends a flock of two hundred sheep for a ranch owner. While he watched the sheep, a traveler approached him and offered to pay the boy if he left the sheep and helped guide the traveler to the next ranch. The boy repeatedly refused due to his loyalty to the sheep and their ranch-owner, and was rewarded for his honesty and faithfulness.
