Nan is exhausted from her family's constant chaos, and she barely makes it to Relief Society after one especially long day. At Relief Society, Nan learns more about family unity. She resolves to use what she learned on her family. That Saturday, Nan and her family pack a picnic and begin driving to a far away field. Things quickly turn sour when it begins to rain, the car gets a flat tire, and the road to the field is closed. They turn back home, and by the end of the day Nan is so discouraged she can't help but cry. Her family comforts her and helps her see that they are united despite their chaos.
