Gwendolyn and Bill move to the country and begin to establish their land. One day Bill heads out to get Christmas gifts for their children, but he doesn't return home that night. Gwen begins to worry, and after some inquiries, she finds out that he is stuck behind a wall of snow from the storm. An Indian couple comes to help out Gwen while Bill is away. Gwen is worried what she will tell her children when they wake up to no gifts on Christmas morning but is surprised with gifts from the Indian woman. From then on, these couples were fast friends.
