Zedekiah, one of the Three Nephites, wanders in New York in the 20th century. He recalls his early life in Zarahemla and the role he played in the compiling of the Book of Mormon. After thousands of years of life, his belief is wavering and he finds himself uncertain as to the nature of his responsibilities and if he even wants to fulfill them.
