A young girl goes on a sleigh ride with her friends on New Years eve, against the wishes of her widowed father and younger sisters. During the sleigh ride, the sleigh almost falls off a cliff, and the girl realizes the necessity of becoming a better daughter and sister. She makes a New Years resolution to become better and more attentive to her family.
