Be Still, My Soul: Classic Hymns and Folk Songs

Salt Lake City: Shadow Mountain, 2009

  • Alex Boyé: Musician
Sound Recording, Hymn, Songs, Folk Song, Folk Music
Mormons--Songs and music. Folk songs. Folk music. Hymns.
In his latest offering, Be Still, My Soul: Classic Hymns and British Folk Songs, Alex shows us his gentler side. With simple yet sophisticated arrangements, he pours out his heart on classic hymns, as well as on a few of his favorite folk melodies from his homeland. Whether in an intimate fireside setting, or performing with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Alex shares his musical testimony in a most unusual and powerful way.
