Bernie Fisher: Everyday Hero

In 1966 Major Bernard F. Fisher, a pilot in the United States Air Force, left the safety of his rural Idaho home for war-ravaged Vietnam. After six months of combat missions, he found himself circling the charred remains of a fellow pilot's plane and weighed the decision to risk his own life for the life of another. This is the story of the first recipient of the Air Force's Medal of Honor in the Vietnam War.
