Fiction, Short Story
Jim Gibbs is a bitter old man who keeps away from all the other old folk at the state infirmary. One day a visiting woman invites him to ride in her car with some other old people. This experience brings Jim happiness and opens his eyes to the world around him. Jim begins to associate with the people around him, and he even makes some friends. Before Christmas, Jim heads out and buys gifts for his new friend, and an invalid old man. Giving others gifts makes it Jim's best Christmas ever.
