Body and Blood

  • Michael Palmer: Author
Fiction, Short Story
A teenage boy struggles to understand and develop his own views about life and the Church. He spends his free time boxing his friends in the park, then starts to learn kickboxing. Kickboxing gives him confidence in himself and in seeking out his own lifestyle rather than following the prescribed one he's settled into. He wonders about religion and wishes it was more concrete: something he knows how to make a part of his life rather than just three hours endured on Sunday.
