Nora begins helping her neighbor, Ann, every day to clean her house, cook and bake, and take care of her young children. Although Ann learns many valuable skills, Nora can see that she is still struggling in her marriage. Nora is deeply troubled by Ann's depression, but she doesn't know how to help. One night, Ann's daughter falls ill. Nora rushes over and encourages Ann's husband to give his daughter a blessing even though he hasn't been to church in years. After the blessing, Nora can see that the hurt between Ann and her husband has started to heal, and she is able to return home with peace in her heart.
