Fiction, Short Story
Mitch, an avid climber in recovery from a bad fall, decides to attempt a comeback climb despite his physical restrictions. His girlfriend, refusing to let him go alone, recruits his estranged half brother to accompany him. As they begin hiking, they realize how distant from each other they are and how much emotional baggage from their early family life they both carry. Then, when the climb gets harder than they expected and their lives are on the line, something changes and they choose to be brothers.
