Build Again

Gertrude Perry Stanton

Salt Lake City, Utah: General Board of Relief Society, October 1937

  • Gertrude Perry Stanton: Author
Poetry
A person's plant breaks, but they keep it in their window hoping that its strong roots will help it recover. After many months, the plant begins to grow back straighter, stronger, and prettier than before. If we bury our own roots deep, we can survive any challenges that come our way.
