Antone wants his father to come on a scouting trip with him, but his father insists that there is too much work on the farm to go. Antone is devastated, but instead of getting frustrated, he remembers the commandment to honor thy father and mother. Instead, he prays to be able to finish his work fast enough that he and his father can go on the trip. He receives strength and motivation to finish his work far faster than he could have otherwise, and when his father sees his effort, he prays for an understanding heart to come to know his son. He then helps Antone finish the weeding and agrees to go on the trip.
