Salt Lake City, Utah: General Board of Relief Society, August 1962

  • Lael Littke: Author
Fiction, Short Story
Molly is heading to help old Grandma Feeney for the day and has asked her daughter, Lois, to make dinner while she is away. Lois asks if she can use the china for dinner, but Mary reminds her that the china is only for the company best. While Molly is helping Grandma Feeney, she notices that Grandma Feeney refuses to use her beautiful bedsheets because they are for the company best. This experience changes Molly's heart, and she returns home to tell Lois they will be using the china for dinner because family is the most important company anyway.
