  • Mildred R. Stutz: Author
Fiction, Short Story
Connie and her family have just moved to a new town, and she is having a hard time adjusting. One evening, Connie's parents host a dinner party, and Connie's mother tells her that people in Scottsdale have different ideals than them and that they have to compromise so they can make friends. On her way home from a movie, Connie runs into a group of kids from her school. She isn't sure if they have the same beliefs as her, but she remembers her mother's words and decides to hang out with them anyway.
