Fiction, Short Story
A widowed pioneer woman, angry with God for taking her husband, is visited by a mysterious stranger during a dust storm. He tells her he is in great need, and she is reluctantly convinced to give him a gold coin she keeps as a failsafe against hard times. After the encounter, she realizes it was her husband's spirit who came to remind her to trust God and see His hand even in the storms of life.
