Personal Essay, Speech
Every Good Thing, the latest volume in the popular and well-respected series from the women's conference held each spring at Brigham Young University, contains rich, rewarding presentations on all the good things in life. Based on the 1996 women's conference theme, "Laying Hold upon Every Good Thing," the book covers such topics as parenting, spiritual growth, compassionate service, community service, coping with stress, financial planning, and setting priorities. Selections are from such speakers and writers as Janet Lee, Merrill and Marilyn Bateman, Mary Ellen Smoot, Pamela Bushman, Janice Kapp Perry, Mary Ellen Edmunds, Gerald Lund, and Heidi Swinton. Among other areas of interest to women, the contributors talk on the grieving process, conflict resolution, and scripture study. [publisher]
