A young boy, nicknamed El Tejano, roams from New Mexico to Mexico with his comrades in Villa's army. He shows his resourcefulness as he lives off the land and saves his comrades from trouble time and time again. Eventually he falls in love and settles down as a rancher among his Mormon and Mexican friends.
