A newsreel which depicts the alarm of President Heber J. Grant at the unemployment levels in the Church, and his subsequent creation of one hundred new public works projects for Church members (i.e. the Church welfare program). The subsequent section in the newsreel is on J. Edgar Hoover.
March of Time, a long-running newsreel program, did this installation in the late 1930s. As a positive representation of the Church in the media it was received enthusiastically by Church leaders and members alike. Various sources place it in 1938 or 1939, or perhaps as early as before May 1937. Unfortunately, the specific title is unknown and it is considered lost today.
