Minerva Teichert: A Mission in Paint

  • Peter G. Czerny: Film Editor
  • Peter N. Johnson: Producer

painter; Minerva Teichert
In New York, they called her one of the most gifted artists of her generation. In Chicago, they said her drawing was second to none. In Cokeville, Wyoming, they said she had a way with cattle. As a painter, rancher, wife and mother, Minerva Teichert skillfully blended artistic and family life. To her, painting was a mission--a divine call to tell the story of her people, the Mormons. This documentary tells her story through her own words and the memories of those closest to her.
