A girl recounts memories of her adopted grandma, Morgan, an Indian woman who lived near her. As a child, she and her friends played often at her house, learning about Grandma Morgan’s past through items, such as her silk sari and butcher knife, and her way of life, such as how she treated even the ants. Eventually, the girl goes to visit Nandi for herself and once again recognizes how beautiful her Grandma Morgan’s culture is.
